I found "Freedom 2" first & its poignancy wowed me. Its stunning contrasts & simplicity aside, the image of--as I perceived it--a young man, a youth, in mid-air completely took me in, deeply moved me.
You see, that youth, that young man, was me, 23 & loving life almost with passionate abandon. Now, 16 years later, paralysis prevents me performing such a feat, for it was at 23 I lost my ability to leap in a hiking injury.
But what *beautiful* images! What stirring memories! Thank you.
